Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh received his second COVID-19 vaccine booster on Friday at the Paddock Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.  

The Minister received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine booster and used the opportunity to once again urge the population to protect themselves against the COVID-19 virus by getting vaccinated. 

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has been granted approval to be used as a second booster dose for members of the public who fall into the following categories:  

-All immunocompromised persons  

-Persons aged 60 years and over  

-Healthcare workers  

All eligible individuals can now “walk-in and get their second COVID-19 vaccine booster four to six months after receiving their initial booster. The Pfizer COVID-19 booster vaccines are available at the following vaccine locations:
