Anaconda High School teacher Kate Mattern is photographed with a vertebral model, a new teaching tool she received this week that she is excited to share with students upon their return to school on Monday. Mattern teaches chemistry, anatomy and physiology, advanced biology and health occupation sciences and has 18 students physically present in her pod-learning group and three students taking classes remotely. “I kind of don’t know what to hope for in the future but we are all doing the best we can right now,” says Mattern.
