BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched 22 Starlink satellites to low-earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base Monday morning after Saturday’s postponed launched date, according to SpaceX.
Officials said, the Falcon 9 rocket launched at 2:30 a.m. Monday morning from Complex 4 East at Vandenberg SFB.
The Starlink satellites were carried on a Falcon 9 rocket which, produced a bright orange flame that gradually lit the night sky.
This was the 15th flight for the first stage booster supporting the mission, which previously launched Sentinel-6.
