Investors must link their Aadhaar with their PAN on or before March 31, 2022, according to a 2017 amendment introduced by the government. The PAN card will become inoperative if it is not linked with the Aadhaar by March 31, 2022. As a result, the KYC status becomes void.

Quantum Mutual Funds has sent an email notification to its investors asking them to link PAN- Aadhaar, failing which most investment-related activities will be stopped. To invest in mutual funds, investors must have a valid PAN. If PAN becomes invalid because of non-linkage with Aadhaar, investors will not be able to invest in mutual funds.

Quantum Mutual Funds stated in the press release, “It’s not just investor’s mutual fund investment that will come to a halt, but if you fail to link your PAN and Aadhaar, most of your investment-related activities will be stopped. Fresh investments or redemptions will be prohibited. The previous and ongoing systematic investment plans (SIPs) will also be stopped.”

A valid PAN is required in order to invest in mutual funds. Investors will be unable to invest in mutual funds if their PAN becomes invalid due to the non-linkage with Aadhaar.

According to the Quantum Mutual funds, one can follow the below steps to link PAN with Aadhaar
Investors can do so by:
